NEW REVIEW RATINGS

Great: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a 9 or 10. While the story may have a couple of flaws, the overall structure, themes, character interactions and story structure are top quality.

Good: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a 7 or 8. While there may be larger flaws with the themes, character interactions and story structure, the overall presentation is decent.

Average: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a 4, 5 or 6. An average rating can be given to projects that add nothing new to the franchise or those that are, overall, dull. However, the themes, characters and story structure are fine and fairly inoffensive. They can also be given to projects that have flaws that affect the viewing experience, like a poor theme attached to an otherwise good story and characters. Or vice versa.

Bad: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a 1, 2 or 3. This can be given to projects that have sub-par aspects. The projects can still be redeemed by others, but the negatives of the overall project outweigh the positives slightly.

Awful: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a 0 or a minus rating from -1 to -5. These projects have little to no redeeming value on all aspects of the story. They can also have themes so poorly executed, they lead to unfortunate implications.

Atrocious: This is a replacement rating for projects I used to give a minus rating from -6 to -10. These projects have absolutely no redeeming value, going above and beyond the lack of quality that awful episodes do.
